Thanks Pam. I have this. If it is right it would appear that he was married to Jane who then died and he married Francis Ann. It is a pity there is no trce of him on the 1851 census, at least I cant find him.

This elusive character was my GGGrandfather. He was born about 1812 and married an Ann or Annie or Francis Ann Blacklock in about 1851, and they had four children. I have a family book with all the details in, he died in 1859. I have a picture of him but can find no trace of him in any census etc. He is on my GGrandmothers marriage cert in 1880's as deceased.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
