Not sure the 1871 I posted is the right family as not in Newton and the name of the son does not match with any marriages in 1874. |

Could anyone see if there is a death certificate record for a James Bossons born in 1825 after 1874. His name appears on his son's wedding certificate in 1874. He could possibly have been living in Staffordshire as he appears in Newtown Staffs in the 1871 census. There is no sign of him on the 1881 census or thereafter. |
