I am looking for any information on my grandmother Eliza Jane Hann she was married to my grandfather Frederick William Langton Married in dec 1903 when she was 20 she had a sister harriet who was older. The Daughters of Eliza Jane say she always said her maiden name was Clarke but I have the wedding certificate and it states fathers name William Hann occupation painter. I cant find any records prior to this date of Eliza Jane or Harriet. I was told they grew up in a convent in Windsor or old Windsor. I am beginning to think maybe they were illegitimate. Any information will be gratefully received. |
