I can't find my Irish great-grandmother

Does anyone know the best way to trace Irish ancestors? My great-grandmother was born in Ireland.about 1848. Her name was Jane McPherson and her parents were Willam McPherson and Agnes Buchanan. Jane married my great-grandfather James Bryce on 23rd March 1871 at South Church in Paisley, Renfrewshire. In the 1891 census they have seven children.

Any help would be much appreciated.
