I AM HELPING MY DADS SISTER FIND OUT ABOUT HER FATHER. AFTER MONTHS OF SEARCHING AND QUESTIONING I FOUND OUT HE WAS CALLED CYRIL JAMES DELLAR MASTER OF THE WINCHCOMBE BOYS HOME FROM 15 MAY 1935-20TH OCT 1937 HE WAS A MARRIED MAN(MY NAN HAD AN AFFAIR WITH HIM) HIS WIFE WAS CALLED ALICE, I KNOW AS GLOUCESTER RECORDS OFFICE HAVE A FILE ON HIM AND HIS WIFES JOB TERMINATION ON CHARGES OF THEFT FROM THE BOYS HOME,(HE EVEN STOLE MONEY FROM THE BOYS IN HIS CARE) THERE ARE NO PERSONAL FILES SURVIVING FOR THE BOYS HOME. |
