Evening All,

Im Looking for my Great Grandfather George Albert Pratt and his family in each of the censuses. George appears with his parents and 2 siblings on the 1901 census living down 42 Appleford Road, Kensington. He is aged 15 and occupation is a Van Boy; Parents are George and Elizabeth Pratt aged abuot 43/42 born in Kensington and their other 2 children are William whos 19 and appears as a Soldier and from what i can make out...a girl called harrie? (harriet?) born in 1890 all in Kensington.

The trouble is I cant seem to find the family on any other census or even the parents anywhere else. Can anybody Help?

Not having any luck with 1891 and checked on Findmypast.

42 Appleford Road is occupied by Richard and Margaret Punch, and several other families, in 1891

Do you have the birth cert for George Albert? Just wondering what the mothers maiden name was so a marriage could be found.

well i dont think they were living at that address in 1891; i doubt it more like....but i have had trouble looking for the parents even on the census.

well i think her name might be elizabeth tomkins...and i alreid have the marriage for that...

So what was the occupation of George on the marriage cert or the name of his father and occupation?

Was the marriage in 1876 in Chelsea.

well i got my grandads birth cert...and on it he was born down 12 edenham street- 1886, kensington....father was george pratt..mother was elizabeth tomkins...his occupation was a painter..so i am not sure reli whether he was in the war or not......so confused....lol
