Elizabeth

Been for the weekly shop so only just back online. Glad you managed the cert ordering. You should buy certs cos its SO Easy to assume and go down the wrong tree route, even if you have family knowledge info because memories can get distorted.

I know it costs but its worth it to know your tree is verified by certs etc.

Good luck with further searches

They cost £7 with the GRO ref that i quoted from

www.gro.gov.uk

You have to register ,free, and the just tick the box for marriage. and tick the box that you have the GRO ref. Don't over add details .all you need is one name & the GRO ref input where appropriate.

If you haven't bought certs before then I,m surprised you have got this far!!

Sam

Sam Report 31 Oct 2007 09:08

If you get his marriage certificate, it will tell you his fathers name and occupation and hopefully help you to see which is yours on the census.
