I been told that the name Rayner which been carried down the generations to this present day in my family has been a surname and sometime in the 1700's a Rayner married a Jones to which my great great grandmother Eliza Jones brother first name came from he was Rayner Jones c 1823 their parents were William Jones of Wisbech married Louisa Handslip c 1793 in 3/2/1812 in Wisbech Louisa came from Emneth, Norfolk, England. Rayner and Eliza had a sister Harriet Jones c1812 and she married a William Eaglestone in 1832. All children were born and the 2 girls married in Wisbech St Peter. I hope someone can help me |
