I have an Extract from a marriage certificte details as follows:
Extract from the register of marriages kept at the Church of St Peter & St Edward at Palace Street in the Diocese of Westminster 4th September 1883. between Georgium Young and Elizabeth Magrath, (extract dated 31st October 1900). There is no reference number to enable me to get a full copy and I can't find the marriage in any records. Any ideas.

I'm sure you have been given this information on a previous thread yesterday with the title "Occupation".

Yes you are right, its just with the spellings being so different I wondered if it was the same people.
Having the extract of the certificate of marriage I thought that the names would be spelt the same on all records.

There are often spelling mistakes on transcribed indexes.

Since you know the exact date of the marriage you could give this as a reference checking point when ordering the marriage certificate, but I'm sure it will be the right one.

Carolyn

I gave you the marriage info on your thread yesterday....and advised you how to apply for FULL cert............

Perhaps you couldn't find it, as you seem to put every request on at least three message boards................
