Hi Potty and Moggie

In the past I had applied for a birth certificate for William Charles Roberson born Mitford and when I looked back in my file it was the Vol 13 page 239 one and unfortunately this William was born in Litcham with parents John and Hannah so he was not 'my' William!
I am also interested to find out where Maureen found the marriage of James Robertson to Ann Stagge as I am sure this is the right one.

I have found the family in 1851 in Shipdam but I seem to be unable to copy the info into this thread. They have a son Robert Stagge age 16 possibly Ann's son before she married James.

James Robertson to Anne Stagg on 16th November 1834 at Shipdam.

I am trying to find more information on James Roberson born I guess around 1810. He was the father of William Roberson born in Shipdham C1846 but I have been unable to locate William's registration of birth. William's marriage to Elizabeth Woombs in Walsoken , Norfolk states his father as James but I cannot seem to find anything else about him or his wife.

If anyone has any information about James or the birth of William I would be very grateful
