Russell S Rayner

Does anyone have a Russell S Rayner in there tree - he married Mary Baxter ( my g/aunt ) in 1926 in hartismere norfolk - cant find a birth or death for him

it could be sue but as they got married in norfolk im not sure - but it is the only russell s i can find in the right time frame

Hi Julie,


I don't know if you follwedSueS info through, but Tendring is in Essex, half way between Colchester and Clacton, but there are a few Rayners in the Halstead area of Esssex, about ten years ago we had a Russell Rayner do some small carpentry jobs in our kitchen ! he went to school with our youngest and my wife is chummy with his Mum.

I knwo this doesn't really help, its just gossaip and coincidence.

Hi Bob

As he is the only Russell S in the BDM in the right time scale i think it may well be him - but as i cant find any children he isnt easy to tie in
