I am trying to find the ancestors of my wifes Gt grandfather William Miller McGrath born 1853 in Cork ireland. He Married Amelia Pinnock and their youngest Daughter Glady Ivy McGrath was my wifes Maternal Grandmother. He Served in the Royal Navy before the turn of the century and spent some time as the coxwain of the royal yacht Victoria and Alfred. He finished his Naval career as senior warder at the Naval Prison in Lewes Sussex. Finding his ancestors has drawn a blank as the irish records are not easy to find. Can Anyone Help |
