Hi,

I am tyring to extend the Hill branch of my tree and have come to a blinding halt.

Lily was my Gt-Gndmother, she married Fred Warren 25/12/21.

Lily's father was George Hill b. London c1872 and her mother was Rachel/Sarah formerly Deneball late Stein. She was born in Russia.

She had a son from her first marriage - Mack/Mark. They are all listed in 1901 census - with George listed as a Bus driver and having been born in Holborn.

From then on it gets woolly, what with George Hill being a fairly common name ... I know from George and Rachels marriage certificate that George's father was also George (deceased at the marriage - he was a private fireman).

Anyone know anything? It would be so very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
