It is probable that your grandparents were Lilian Bearchell and William Turner, who married in Greenwich 2nd quarter 1905. It would help if you could mention when and where your father was born, for more searching to be effective.

My dad was Albert Edward Turner (known as Ted) son of William George & Lilian Turner. My dad was born July 15, 1914 at 7 Drake Buildings, Deptford. He emigrated to the Bahamas in 1949 to work on the building of a Butlins holiday camp in the Bahamas leaving behind a 4 year old son. I have been trying to find out if my dad had any siblings. My brother has told me that he used to visit an uncle in Cricklewood. He also seems to think that there was another uncle that lived in Newcastle upon Tyne. I have also found out that my dad had a sister born in 1912. Her name was Ellen Mary Turner, they lived at 24 Czar St, Deptford when she was born. At some point they moved to 7 Drake Buildings Deptford (which I am led to believe was located somewhere on New King Street. My grandmothers maiden name was Bearchell. I have not been able to ascertain the names of my 2 uncles and therefore not been able to trace any other descendants.
I have also discovered that my dads grandfather was George Turner who was listed on my grandparents marriage certificate in 1905 as an engineer and deceased.
If there is anyone who thinks they may know any members of this family, or anything about them could you please contact me. I would really appreciate it.
