Find Ancestors

I am trying to find the following in the Welsh censuses, but my knowledge of Wales is limited, so I am not able to easily identify place names which might actually be very close to the villages mentionned.

I've tried looking for all sorts of combinations of wildcard searches and haven't succeeded.

The information I have is:-

Seeking Elizabeth James, bc1867 (based on death in 1953 aged 86 so may be a couple of years out... )Born at Methyr Cynog, Breconshire.

I think she had a sister Margaret, don't know if older or younger.

Elizabeth James married William Williams (don't know when).
William Williams born c1870 based on death aged 81 in 1951. He was born in a place called something like Llethgullen, I'm sure that's spelt wrong, but that's how it sounds.

Any finds gratefully received, I will post thanks, but possibly not until tomorrow!

thanks for those, I'm not sure though, as I don't think there were any other children of that family, apart from Elizabeth and Margaret...

I knew it was a tricky one though!

You need to find the marriage..........the cert will have the ages of the couple, plus names and occupations of their fathers (if known)

Tracing them on censuses would then be easier ( one hopes)

Did this couple have children? If so, what were their names, and approximate birth years?

Just realised I saved that record yesterday as a possible! As I had William born in a diff parish to Elizabeth I wasn't 100% sure.

They did have children, but not until 1904 so nothing to tie them in on the censuses... I think I need to go back and ask some more questions!
