Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 27 Send Message	My great uncle Walter was born on 6 September 1885, eldest of three children (my grandfather was the youngest, James, and they had a sister Lily), in Plumstead, Kent, to Walter Brown (ex RA gunner) and Elizabeth Hibbert, who both died when the 3 children were between 7 - 12 years old. My auntie Peggy tells me that Walter was a lifetime soldier, and she thinks he ended his days in Ireland. All I know about him for sure is his date of birth, but if somebody out there knows who I am talking about I would love to hear from them
