Hi Everyone,
Would some kind person please look up the 1901 census for me. I am looking for a James Henry Faairbairn of 39 Chatsworth St Derby. This was the last known address of my Grandmothers cousin in 1904. I would like to know his childrens names PLEASE. THANK YOU . Regards Patricia.

Hi Debi,
James Fairbairn was born1875 and in the 1881 census had him with his grandparents the Beddards. He was born in Louss(Ithink thats how to spell it) Cornwall. In a letter to my grandmother he referred to his wife as Nell. Thats all I have.

Hi Debi,
Thanks muchly for the info and so quick too. The particulars are my James. That street Crewe St is where they lived before they went to Chatsworth Road. By the time 1905 came around they had 3 children. I guess there is no way of finding his other 2 childrens names or even knowing if he had more than 3 .

The ONLY way to know if they did have any further kiddies will be by trial & error ie searching the GRO Index of births & purchasing birth certs to obtain parents names.......... or you could request on the RECORDS OFFICE forum some kind soul do a look up on the parish records of christenings for that area in a set time frame??
