Does anyone know where I can find records e.g. passenger lists of people who came over to England from Ireland?
I believe they came over about 1840-1850

Hi Helen

Passenger lists aren't available for travellers coming from Ireland, it was part of the United Kingdom of Britain and Ireland and people could come and go as they pleased.

Thanks Sam.

I'm getting dead ends on all my Irish lot. I have censuses that say they were born in Ireland, but can't go any further because I don't know whereabouts in Ireland.
