Member Since: December 2005 Posts: 16 Send Message	Hello Lorraine The best way I found was If you know the Town you was adopted in and where you was born.. Apply to the County Council of that town Include in the address...Adoption Department Give all the information you have on the B cert and state who you are. Give the year you was adopted and if you have the adoption papers give all the info you find in there If you dont know the address of the council it should be in the directory. If you live abroad look it up on the puter type County Council address of ++++++UK If you are abroad include a nominal fee to cover postage By law you are allowed to go to the councils now. It took me 3 months to find my family that way after 2 yrs of searching. They will help you and if you have the wrong addres will either let you know or forward it on. They did for me. I will love to meet at least one member of my biological family. to share my loving experience of being adopted. If you know of any Miller mc'leod please do get intouch.
