To all who have asked for help:

Im very sorry i ahve had no luck with much research; i have tried to find anytihng that will help your queries.

I plan to come back tomoro where im fresh, clean head and willing to do an extra bit more to help in any way.

im sorry but i havent been able to find your stubbs anywhere; the name is quite unusual as a first name...maybe he wasnt there on the night the census took place; i know a few of my relatives had the same situation; still cant find them...

Sophie, yes, his name is Stubbs Henry Lambert, married Louisa Ann Peters in 1898. Can be found on 1881 census aged 12 but nothing on 1891. Also found on 1901 census with wife and daughter anne - like i said, he may have been out having a beer or twoin 1891!!

Bet you won't be able to find this one:-

Samuel Wiliam Hearnden born 1857 boston USA (don't think it was Massachusettes though) he came to england as an orphan listed n 1871 as Gloucester orphanage, he married twice to Fanny Hadda and Elizabeth Bagby, I realy would love to know where he came from and his parents if possible

I have looked and looked but with no luck of finding your george pickles born in huddersfield with his parents...even looked without his parents with no luck..

it seems i havent helped much 2nite, im very sorry.

Hi Sophie, If you get time, can you look in the 1891 Census for a Stubbs Henry Lambert, born 1868, London, Middlesex. I have him in 1881 and 1901 but he may have been out on the night in question in 1891.

Hi Sophie,
I Have James in 1871 as a coachbuilder in Norwich area. The birth entry I have is a copy of the original and very difficult to read - only "local" knowlage gave me the town... Its the 8th line down (the third James)

Yes please Sophie, i would be very grateful if you could find George William Frederick Henry Herbert Pickles age 8 or 9 in the 1891 census Huddersfield Yorks for me please, his parents are Charles and Sarah Thankyou.

Well ive managed to find only a few james skinners on the 1851 and 1861 census...none born in the place you stated :- Henstead, Suffolk . You said he was born in the first quarter of 1842 but i looked on the freebmd website to check and 4 came up...none that stated the place henstead....let me look a bit more..

Well the only thing i can suggest is finding a birth of henry in 1876...ill try having a look for you; im sorry i havent been much help...give me a momnet 2 look for more info..

Well with no location to go on...its quite hard 2 trace. I looked on the 1881 census since it would be easier to find. I found a john simpson born in 1872 with a father of a robert and mother is a mary who were both born in early 1830's....i have no idea whether its them...since i have no location...maybe u can spot sumthin...

WILLIAM SIMPSON BORN 1720 WHO MARRIED JANET BROCKMIRE/BROCKMYRE WHO WAS BORN 1730 (not 100% on her exact date of birth soz)

they had a son

ROBERT SIMPSON BORN 1830 AND MARRIED MARIAN SINCLAIR BORN 1840

they had a son called

JOHN SIMPSON BORN 1872 WHO MARRIED ELIZABETH MEUX BORN 1873
JOHN WAS A CASTER

they then had a son

JOHN SIMPSON BORN 1901

thats about as much as I know. I don't know what area they stayed in soz.
