Looking for Hugh Anderson 1886 of Mauchline, Ayrsh

Hello,

Hugh was born 11/5/1886 at 10 Brown Terrace, Mauchline, Ayrshire, Scotland.

He was the son of Alexander Anderson b.1858 in Auchinleck parish, Ayrshire and Jane/Jean Cameron of Cumnock parish, Ayrshire also b.1858. Alexander and Jane married 30/12/1881 at Bilboa, Mauchline, Ayrshire. Hugh had siblings, James, Robert, Agnes and John.

On 10/6/1910 Hugh married Robina (Bina) Cowan Lees in Main Street, Ochiltree, Ayrshire, the daughter of David Lees and Mary Kirk. Robina was born at Dixton, Stair parish, Ayrshire on 4/1/1888.

It is said that the couple emigrated but where to is a mystery. As I can't find a death in Scotland for either of them, the emigration might be true.

Robina was likely dead before the start of 1946 as she had a son before marriage called Ernest Twymane Lees and she is listed as deceased on the 1946 certificate for Ernest's marriage to Jane Jamieson Barr.

Can anybody tell me what happened to Hugh and Robina?

Any help is much appreciated.
