Diane, Why don't you write to the owners of Hoghton Tower. I think he is Bernard De Houghton. I am sure they would be very interested to hear your connection.
I went in September to the classic car rally and had a tour around the Tower. Part of it is still inhabited by the family and they do tours to the public. They did have a chapel there and I think they could help you, Fingers crossed and best wishes, Joan

Thanks for all the info everyone. The 41, 51 and 61 census' show her birth place as Hoghton Tower so I think it is unlikely that a mistake has been made on all three. I am guessing that LRO will have the baptism registers but I am not sure. It is so frustrating living in Spain and 'losing' a relative that has not been put on the net! Diane

If you search without a name,the last record is for 1806.
Maybe the IGI info is incorrect
OR they stopped doing christenings in Houghton 1806.

There is this christening at Westhoughton, Lancashire, which isn't too far from Preston:-

I did the search by clicking IGI, clicking on region and entering B. Isles putting in the batch number that Jim kindly sent to me, it produced no results. Anyone any suggestions. I have been looking for Mary Wright for so three years now and would love to find her. Diane

So sorry that I confused you! I did actually have the names of her children and Jim was spot on!! Thanks! I just didn't think that they would help find the baptism record. I have tried the online Parish Records for Lancashire but Hoghton hasn't yet been transcribed.

I live in Spain and am hoping that someone will be kind enough to do a look-up for me. I am looking for a baptism record for my gg.grandmother Mary Wright who was born in Hoghton Tower, nr Preston Lancashire, 1810. I know nothing about her other that she married Henry Fielding in Church Kirk, Lancashire in 1832.

I would really appreciate any help.
