I have just joined Genes Reunited and am trying to trace my family tree. My father, Kevin Howard Bettles, was born in 1964 in Orsett, Essex. His father, Bernard William Bettles was born in Stratford, London in 1937 and married Jean Ann Early. Bernard (my grandfather) parents names were Walter and Florence Bettles, although they have both passed away. That's as far as I've got so far. Can anyone help me at all?

have you looked at BMD records? if not look on www.freebmd.com. Also check 1901 census for Walter & Florence if you have access to Ancestry or I'm sure someone on here with access will be kind enough to look them up for you
