I have just started to research the family tree in Barnstaple, Pilton, North Molton, Devonshire and managed to establish that Hugh Bawden (b.abt.1813/14) is my GtGrdndfather (x4), (there were 2 sons and 5 daughters). He married Mary Gould (b.abt.1815/16). His son John (b. abt.1949, Pilton/Barnstaple) came to Coventry eventually and married Charlotte Patrick (b.1851) (from Nuneaton). His son Ernest John (b.1878) (Coventry) (there were 3 sons and possibly (a daughter - still trying to establish this fact) married Elizabeth Berry (b.abt.1879) (Coventry). His son Albert Ernest (b.1902) (Coventry) (there were 3 sons also here) married Florence Furness (b.1904) (Middlesborough). Albert was killed in the Coventry Blitz in 1940. Florence died a year later (a broken heart). Their only son John was my father (b.1932). Dad passed away in 1979. Dad married June Brown (my mum) (b.1937) (Wall's End, Newcastle) in 1954. Dad married again in 1974 and had 3 more children (all boys) We are, most of us (there were 7 children from the first marriage), living in and around Coventry, apart from one brother who is living in Kingsbridge in Devon. Are there any relatives or someone who can help?
