My maiden name was Fairleigh but this Alice is not in my tree. However, on NSW births/ deaths marriages there is an Alice Akers who married Hector H Fairleigh at West Maitland 1919. Likely to be this lady- fits the right age group. Good luck

I am trying to find relations to my late Aunty Ilma May Holland.
Ilma was born at Muswellbrook, she was given away by her birth mother at the Maitland Railway Station in around 1920-1924
Her biological mothers maiden name was Hollan, she was adopted by Alice Fairleigh, where she grew up at Maitland NSW Australia.
if anyone can remember any of their ancestors talking about their relative giving a baby girl away at Maitland Railway Station back in the early 1900`s p-lease give it some thought, you might be able to help me
regards trish
