Can anyone help me. I've been looking for the birth of Thomas Baldwin c1818. All of the census returns except one have his birth place as Thundersley, Essex the other says Rayleigh, Essex. I know from his marriage certificate that his father was also a Thomas Baldwin. FRC Chelmsford have run a search for his baptism but say it is not there. I know from his will that his cousin Henry Baldwin of Rayleigh was the executor of the will so I'm convinced that Thomas was from thundersley, he died in 1899. I cant't go back or move sideways until I find more of this information. Any ideas?
