Also two children of this marriage.

It appears Lorna then married Victor L Anderson in December Quarter 1953 and all details sent to you of these events.

Plus two children of Marriage Anderson/Ward.

Let us hope these two match your Father's birth certificate.

When I typed Michael Anderson into the seach box,for all Quarter's,only Q1 came up.???..never happened before.Tom.

just a piece of advice.

You won't get actual birth dates on either ancestry or freebmd.

These sites ONLY show the births per quarter ............... Jan-Feb-Mar, Apr-May-June, etc. You may see it written as March, June, September, December.


Usually the only place you will see the full birth date is on the birth certificate OR on a family tree that someone has put either on here or on ancestry.

I know my dad was born in 1955 jill thanks so maybe his parents married around then I don't know - but knowing he has other siblings makes me wary of when they got married ie birth before marriage etc

Thanks lost for words I had never even considered that possibility about sea! Maybe its something to bear in mind for later on! I'm just writing down and name date b/m/d that crops up around this area and around the dates I'm searching at the minute, hoping it may come in handy later on!

I don't have a clue when my fathers parents got married unfortunately Jill, and they way things were they could have married in those years after the birth of my father, or before hand.

I said I'm at a bit of a lost cause, and I feel like an absolute twit at the minute! I am just so desperate to get thse little things pieced together! Even now I'm searching for info!

Thomas - 4th Nov 1955 - I have it stored on genes reunited and have found it again, but ancestry cannot seem to pinpoint it exactly.

I found him a few months ago, as it took me ages finding him, knowing only his exact birth date, but I am finding trouble between searching records o Ancestry and genes reunited, as they seem to come up with many different things, and ancestry seems to be very unspecific to me, even when you do type in precise information and refine your searches.

yes I have the name of the child ( Michael John Anderson) as it was my father, and I am currently waiting for the certificate however I don't think it's going to help narrow things down much unfortumately!

The only firm basis for the search is the birth to which you refer.

You need to obtain the cert for that birth.............to learn the correct full names of the people who were the parents.

Hello to anyone out there interested in assisting me.

Unfortunately no information was ever disclosed to myself regading my grandparents, and I am stuck in my parents generation with very few details to help.

I know I am looking for a marriage between WARD (female) and ANDERSON (male).

The dates are completely unknown t myself and I have no estimated year, and have already spent a fortune searching records but only seem to have cropped up on two marriages so far but not in the area I assumed they may be.

I have guessed the marriage would have been between 1920 and 1960, as the person born from this marriage was born in 1955.

I am struggling now with impatience and cost factors, and seem to have to go the long way around searching due to the large expance of years I know.

I would be ever so grateful if someone could assist me with a search for a marriage between these two names, and I believe it would have been in S E Hants or surrounding areas.

My best wishes to anyone willing to assist me in my search, and I will be so grateful.
