Hi, I'm looking for information concerning John Armstrong born 1821, Danby or Castleton in Yorkshire, the 1861 & 1891 census's show that he was born at Castleton whilst the 1851 said he was born at Danby, these two villages are very close together.
John Armstrong married Ann Bell b 1828 Whitby, at Hartlepool.
His father was also called John Armstrong b c1800 & his mum was Elizabeth also b c1800, any information about his parents or siblings would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards Derek.
