Mother and father of Charles Firmin, born around 1826 in Stoke by Nayland, Suffolk. Initial findings of John Firmin and Sarah Abbott, married around 1815. Cannot find John and Sarah's births, parents etc. Any help, suggestions welcomed. Thanks |

paul do you live in bury st edmunds? if you do try the recolds office they were rely helpful when i went and its all frwee just take with you all that you have got and the y will help you trevor |

Hi Trevor, Thanks for that. Charles Firmin born about 1826 in Stoke by Nayland, Suffolk. Father John Firmin married Sarah Abbott, around 1815. On 1841 census John aged 50, so he could of been born any time between 1788 and 1793. Sarah Abbott aged 45 on 1841 census, so could have been born between 1793 and 1798. I presume around Stoke by Nayland or within a very short distance. Their is a reference on familysearch.com to a John Firmin whose father is a Frances and mother Ann, but I havent been able to track this any further. Any information would be useful.
