ww1 army records ? Kew

Hi Sophie
thanks for that information, i have been on the cwgc site, William died on the 9th october 1917 and his name is on the Tyne Cot Memorial . I have also now got his medal card but it doesnt say anything else about him but every bit helps. We dont have any photos of him and i suppose i was hoping i might find a description of him somewhere in the records.

Ive got another link for you; its from the national archives website; on there you can look up medal records.... and i happen 2 find your williams; ull have 2 pay a small fee of 3.50 to get it and download it. It will show u his medal card, where he fought and medals he may have received; it might have other bits on there aswell..

is there anyone who might be going to Kew,
i am trying to find out any information about my uncle who was in ww1.

His name was William Kelly
he was in the 2nd/ 9th manchester regt and his no was 352834. I would be really very grateful if anyone could possibly find out any information about him for me .
