I have just looked again at my thread and picked up your input.
Thank you for giving me the 1971. I had 5 children from the 1851, all born around Newcastle. I had no idea that they moved to London and had a load more…….. This is developing into a most interesting family.

I wonder if this could be James Henry in 1871. He's a draughtsman, same as 1881. (It's transcribed Oerbridge)

Just go to the 1881 search box, and put in Archibald's forename....his birth year, and birthplace, and the forenames of his parents...........

BUT.......it's a bit late, as someone has already found them for you

So that would be Lilian Jane Robinson but I would very much like to get the detail on Archibald's parents to see if I can tie them into the rest of the Oubridges in the area.

James Henry Oubridge married Annie Elizabeth Linklater in Stockton in 1875 (would it have been Yorkshire or Durham in those days?)
They have a son Archibald Linklater in 1875, who goes on to get married in 1899 in Newcastle.
I cannot find Archibald in the 1901 census or any of them in 1881. I keep having trouble with mis-transcriptions of this surname. Can anybody see them please?
