Hi Clarence. I am not connected but had a look for you.

Are you sure of your date for Kate, as I have found the family on 1881. 1891. 1901. but her year of birth was 1873. One of the oldest of the children.

I will give you what I have found and you can sort out yourself.

Marriage of Arthur Smith to Maria Grimsey. 1870. Oct/Dec Qtr. reg in Ipswich. vol 4a 1290.
Copy of this certificate will give you their ages, their Father's names and occupations, and witnesses who may be siblings.also help in tracing further back.

I am trying to find a connection with whose who have relative of Kate Smith born Tunbridge Wells in 1884,
Frank Charles born Tunbridge Wells in 1875 and Percy Gilbert Smith born Tunbridge Wells in 1875. Their parents were Arthur Smith and Maria Grimsey.
