You could probably find most of these marriages and births on FreeBMD - much more satisfying to find things yourself. You would need to order certs to confirm, though

ESR1917 Report 6 Nov 2007 17:39

Yes Potty
I totally agree that find things yourself is more satisfying. But then again after nearly 11months of trying to recover from a hospital bug that nearly put me in my box and getting involved with the family tree to keep my sanity.also not being able to afford the 70 odd pounds it takes to renew my FreeBMD subscription
I thought asking kindly was the way to go.

Oh no I can hear them volins again

Hi Janice
Many thanks for reply..Yes I have thats where most of my info has come from plus FreeBMD when had the subscription of course.Typing the family surname of whom your looking for into google has come up with a few good results as well its pain staking and tedious going through all the web pages but its worth it in the end. Some Town and City have their own trying to find web-site were you can put a post message on its suprising what out there if you are prepaired to look ! !!

Sorry you have been so ill - didn't mean to criticise - just help!

FreeBMD is TOTALLY free - no subscription, no registration - www.freebmd.org.uk/ I think you are confusing it with the FreeBMD searches on Ancestry which are also free to those who have no subscription but are not as up to date as FreeBMDs.
