Hi, I've looked many times on this census for these people and draw a blank everytime.

Christopher Bills 1844 Allhallows Kent married (1870) to
Francis/Frances/Fanny Bush 1853 Hoo Kent

I am trying to trace christopher in 1871.

Christopher's mother is Ellin/Ellen 1805 Southend Essex
and he had siblings

William Bills 1839 Allhallows Kent
Eliza Bills 1834 Kent
Sarah Bills 1831 Allhallows Kent

I know by 1871 Eliza and Sarah may have been married. I can't find Christopher, Fanny, William or Ellin.

any clues

Have you got them in 1881

Samantha

Samantha Report 6 Nov 2007 13:55

Some of them.
Christophers 1st child was born in 1872 and had a few more after that, so I know he and Fanny were alive.

William is living with his mother Ellin in 1881 too.

My husbands 9xGRGM was called Fanny Bush too but she was from Wiltshire.

There used to be a great thread on here years ago about Fanny's?

Its on the general board if you want a Great Laugh

Sophie you could be right. I searched with a K and no surname and got nowhere myself. I'll have a further look when I'm home.
Aston, I'll check your stuff out too.
Carrie thanks for trying.

Thankyou all

Sophie spot on, after further checks and looking at the Census record. It has been mistranscribed. The address is also the same as the 1881 Census.
Thankyou
Bonus points to you x
