Birth of one of his children:
After late 1911 mothers maiden names are given on the index - here it has been entered as Rachiss.

That is an entry on freebmd - its free to search. Certificates cost £7 from the GRO online - never pay more - using the GRO ref as above.

No sign of the marriage as the freebmd is not complete. You will be able to find it on ancestry complete index. Why dont you take the three day free trial for ALL census info and bmd for UK and USA - PLUS much more. The complete bmd index is not easily name searchable you have to view each image for the quarters and years. But you have some idea of the date - assuming this was the eldest child work backwards from the year he was born.

Is this your direct ancestor? Have you looked for his marriage certificate? Have you found him on any census?

Does anyone know anything about David Wallace Jardine who married a French woman - Marguerite Rachias - probably in England, in about 1915 to 1920 ?
