Can anyone offer any help as have hit complete brick wall?
Very new to all of this. Looking for any info on William Andrew Bowyer born 1913 in area of Bootle. Had Sisters Edie& Vera and brother Thomas but can't find anything about their parents?

Know William married a Winifred Baker who died very young & he then married a lady called Lucy (she died this year)

Any help very much appreciated

You will have to send for Williams Birth certificate to find out his parents names, then we can search the census's for you.

If that is the right registration for William...this might be his parents' marriage

BUT
There is no way of knowing at this stage.

You need to buy William's marriage certificate to find his father's name and work back.

Carrie - I'm trying to locate birth certificate thro' my father at mo but if unsucessful will take your advice & apply for it.

Joan - I believe William would have married Winfred @ 1940 . and Lucy @1975.
