Hi Malcolm. I see others have found the birth of Winifred and the possible marriage of her parents. Frank and Lily.

One further sibling. Frances J. Higgins. 1911. Oct/Dec Qtr. reg in Plymouth. vol 5b 409. Mother Henwood.

Prior to 1911 the index's did not show the Mothers maiden name so cann check any others,

Hope this helps. Copy of the birth certificate for Winifred will confirm or deny Frank and Lily as her parents, and copy of the marriage certificate will give their ages, their Father's names and occupations, and witnesses who may be siblings. Ethel.

What were her parents names and were they married by then?

Trying to find information about the Higgins family on 1901 Census in Caste Street Plymouth. In particular Winnifred Higgins born Dec 1913 and resident at 8 Caste Street?
Married William Stocker Jan 1940 in PLymouth and had one son Willian Richard John Stocker born Dec 5 1942.
Any connections with the family would be appreciated.
