Hi all,

I am looking for any information on the Girling family from Ipswich, Suffolk.
Any info will be greatly received. My mother in laws father was Eric W G Girling b1921, married Dorothy Mary Clarke, Eric's father was Charles George Girling b1884 married to Florence N Smith.

Many thanks for any help

Angela

What do you have so far? Are you looking for their ancestors?

Hi Heather,

im looking for anything I can find. Ive been on ancestry and there are 2 familys on 1901 census with Charles Girling, same age and same area. So I have 2 possibilities of his parents and siblings, one set of parents being Charles and Mary A Girling, another being Charles and Kate Girling.

I know the obvious and easiest way would be to purchase birth certificate, but my mother in law is not keen at the moment!
