Still trying to find info about my gggreatnan's family 1881 census shows mary gibbons daughter also called mary who was born around 1856 was married to herbert lowe but can't find any marriage record or a death record for a herbert lowe born around 1852 but have receieved info that possibly his name was actually aaron lowe born around the same time and a marriage record is registered for aaron lowe and mary gibbons in 1883 which would mean they had their children before they married the family all came from the willenhall area of staffordshire. The children were called john lowe born 1880, louisa lowe 1876,and mary a lowe 1875.Could anyone help to confirm whether mary was married to haerbert or aaron as I know some census records spellings were sometime done wrong as well as posibly pronounciations. Thanks for the info. I am a bit confused of how these people are connected with mary lowe and aaron or herbert lowe.I wondered if it was possible aaron and herbert could have been brothers and after herbert died mary married aaron as in the 1891 census there is a kate lowe but she is not in the 1901 census could she have either died or gone into service also in the 1901 census there are 2 more children emily 1893 and bertram 1895 it seems a bit of a mystery. On the 1881 image Herbert/ Aaron is living at 6 Clarks Lane
His brother Moses is at 8 Clarks lane with his family
His Mother + Father at 1 Clarks Lane

I have established with help that mary gibbons born about 1856 was actually married to aaron lowe not herbert lowe but I am a bit confused as to who his brothers and sisters were and his mum and dad aaron was born about 1856/7 in willenhall staffordshire.Please help to clear up this confusion as I can then add these people to my family tree thanks dawn.

The 'H' aged 22 would be Hiram.
This would mean that Herbert and Aaron were different people.

I would get the birth cert for one of the children born before 1881 that should give the father.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Herbert turned out to be Hezekiah (brother of Aaron) but he married a Mary Givnell in 1873 (could it possibly be Gibbons??) and why would Mary then marry Aaron as Mary Gibbons?
