Can any one help with a marriage for William Donaldson and Elspet Meston marriage in Hamilton Canada 1855 please
Can you also please see if a William Donaldson died there anytime after 1863 he was born in Aberdeen

Thank you for your help but here is some info I have found out Elspet Donaldson died in Scotland in 1870 and her son William died 1875 living with his gran but her husband William I don't think he came home at all as his brother signed her death certificate and gran signed the grandson's

Make's me wonder if he met and married some on else called Elspet

I doubt if it's the same family. The William & Elspeth that I found on the 81 census had a son William born 1853 Scotland but he was still alive in 1881. There was also the daughter Margaret born 1858 Ontario.

The Elspet I had her son was born in 1863 in Scotland and died at age of 12yrs old
