I received a death certificate yesterday for my great x 2 grandfather George William Christie. On this cert, it states that his death was caused by an accident to his head whilst at work. An inquest did occur and the dates of this were 26th Feb 1917.

Is anyone willing to help me with this and possibly look up any old newspapers etc to see if there are any details about where he worked, what type of incident etc?

I am willing to pay costs

Thanks
Donna

thanks all. I have made an enquiry with the national archives so fingers crossed at least something will come back.

Thanks again
