Has anyone heard of a place in Co. Monaghan called Killicrom? My Great Aunt Catherine was born there. Her father was James Clarke. Her sister married a farmer in Ballybay, Surname McAlearney.
I'd be very grateful for any information that may be connected to any of this. Thanks

Thank you Christine .
Would love to know how you get on with your research. I will look at Clontibret but the names I am looking for are quite common ( no not common--popular)
There must be thousands of Clarkes. Also McAlearney from Monaghan ( not so popular I quess) !
Thanks Regards Margaret
