Charlie Brown was wed to Emma and had a daughter Ellen (my great grand mother) b.1900. They all appaer on the 1901 census for the Buckingham area but i cannot find them on the earlier ones.So i'm a little stuck.Can you help. Thanks Nicholas Horton.x.

Do you know when/where they married and do you have their marriage cert or Ellens birth cert for her mothers maiden name? Is Emma the eldest child? Where was she born?

Is this them in 1901? Ellen born Flackwell Heath?

I have very little other details.I know Ellen wed and died in Marcham Oxon died 1973.Her family moved to Stadhampton Oxon in the years just after WW1.

yes that is them.i was wondering if Stannard was Emma's maiden name.

I thought this date and place more likely but no Emma for a bride - though of course she could just be using that name OR it has been wrongly entered on the census - there are a lot of Emmas in that household (lodgers)
