I've looked at the image on that 1871, it does clearly say age 32, and place of birth Pembrokeshire, Pembroke, so I doubt it is the right one.
Susannah is down as born Loughor.

Sorry... I can't find anything better either!

The other censuses say he's 10 years older than Susanah though :S Maybe just a mistake? I can't see him Iin Pembrokeshire either..

Is my maths getting dodgy... if William was born in 1829, and was 32 in 1871, then that would be DOB 1839?

Am trawling the Welsh censuses... unsuccessfully!

Hi,

Trying to find William Stephens, born (according to the 1891 census) in Crinow, nr. Narberth, Pembrokshire, Wales, but he moved to Gowerton to work in the mines. I'm trying to find anything about him back in Pembrokeshire...but no luck! :S

Thanks,

Clare
