Kathleen Drinan married Jeremiah Dwyer 28/4/1904 at Corpus Christi Church Manchester. She lived at 4 Clara St Newton with her father Thomas, a bus driver. My mum, now aged 93, remembers Kathleen (Kate) s a lady with a strong Irish accent, but from where? The Dwyers originated from Kilkenny back in the early 1800's prior going to MC/R in the time of the famine.Kate and Jerry had 4 sons James Edward John and Leo (Leo died aged 14 yrs of effects of infantile paralysis). Can't find anything on the Drinans!!! Help!! |
