Hi,
I would like to ask for some birth lookups of people still alive - but just wondering if it is ok to ask on here? Just wondering about privacy rules etc.

Also do Ancestry have the mother's maiden name on the birth entries?
I've got a mixture of years from 1925 up to 2001.

No it wouldn't really be a good idea to ask for look ups for possibly living people giving names on the board.

What you could do is post a request for help saying you are looking for living people and you will PM the info to anyone willing to help.

And yes MMN will show for those years.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your advice. Thought that would be the case about not entering the names of people still alive - thought I'd clarify it though.

I'll do another post this afternoon when I have more time, about asking for pm help.
