Hello Joan,
Sorry I didn't reply sooner, we are decorating.
Her name was Ellen McGinn and she was born at 6 Dobby Hall, Northowram on the 10th February 1874, the reason I am interested in her baptism record is because I believe the family had relatives in Halifax and I am hoping that maybe there will be godparents listed who where related.
The family where catholic but I have no idea which church.
All the other children where born in Kirkham in Lancashire both before Grandma and after.

My Grandma was born in Northowram Halifax in 1874 and presumably baptised there.
Is there anyone going to a records office in Yorkshire who could do me the great favour of looking up her baptism for me?
