Hi wondered if anyone could help me please, I am getting really frustrated trying to find my dads gt gt grandfather, I am unable to find his birth or marriage cert, the only lead I have is that his son Thomas born 1840 had his fathers name as John on his cert listed as a stonemason, living in Chehire, however on Thomas marriage cert father is named as Thomas also stonemason. Thomas mother listed as Bridget Flattery but can't find her listed anywhere either, I have a feeling they came from Ireland but no definate info to confirm this. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. |

Thanks for that info, but still can't find the father of Thomas, John or Jane, husband of Bridget, why would her name be Flattery if they were supposed to be married, is that normal? |
