Hi. I'm trying to trace further info regarding Jack Douglas. He was born in about 1917 (I believe in London) and sadly died in WW2 on the 31.5.1940 aged 23. He married Gwenyth Muriel Gear (my great aunt) in 1939. His mother is listed on his memorial as Elsie Lilian Kate Douglas and I believe she was born in about 1894 in Berkshire. At the moment I believe that she wasn't married when Jack was born.

As Gwen and Jack had no children I know there will be no direct living descendants, but I'd love to hear from anyone researching the Douglas family who feels that Jack might belong to them.

Thanks!

Saff:)

Hi Saffron,
If you click on search family trees, one member has an Elsie Douglas born Berkshire 1894 in her tree, it might be worth sending a message to see if it's the same Elsie as you.
