I do know he was definatley called Thomas Hewitson. I have found a might be on Ancestry but i have not subscribed as yet!! Waiting for PAY DAY!!!

It was Thomas Hewitson - Marriage - 1911- Wigton.

This tallies with were Margaret was born according to 1901 Census. Her father was Henry Walby born c 1852

I've checked 1920 and JFM 1921...no birth registered for Mary Hewitson, with MMN Walby

Thanks to all who helped me the other evening, bit I am back again with hopefully the right info.

I am looking for Margaret Alice Walby brn in Wigton 1896 who married Thomas Hewitson. I am struggling to find any record of their marriage. I know they had one child, Mary born 1920.
